To qualify for this visa, you will need to have an offer of employment in New Zealand. The visa is issued for any period from 1-5 years and be in an occupation on either of the Skills Shortage Lists, or a visa officer will need to be convinced that no New Zealanders were widely available to carry out the job.
The visa will be specific to an employer.
This is a 30 month work visa which enables the holder to apply for residence after 2 years through the Residence from Work category. To qualify, an applicant must be under 53 years of age, and hold an offer of employment from an accredited New Zealand company, or in an occupation on the Long Term Skills Shortage List (and meet the specific criteria).
The visa will be employer specific.
